If you want to learn more about global warming and living green, an excellent website is www.TreeHugger.com I cannot recommend it highly enough. It recently was acquired by the Discovery Channel. That was a telling purchase.
As good as TreeHugger.com is, if you wonder “How does global warming affect animals?”, I recommend the Resources section of www.TargetGlobalWarming.org
There you will find an assortment of fact sheets and reports on the connection between American wildlife and global warming. It is the product of an excellent organization, National Wildlife Action, part of National Wildlife Federation. I have taken their global warming presentation training for Florida and can attest to the fact that the science which underlies their positions is right on point. If anything, they err on the side of facts and statistics which are derived from the most conservative, peer-reviewed science. I refer to their data as bulletproof.
After you have read through the aforementioned fact sheets and reports, you’ll be in a good position to return to TreeHugger.com and contextualize the wide array of coverage on that site against the effects of global warming on wildlife.
In the end, I suppose that my favorite global warming website actually has two parts.
