
My wife Catrin and I have lived carbon-neutral since 2004. This means that we produce no more carbon than we would have had we lived 200 years ago. We achieve this important lifestyle choice through three key steps: reducing, reusing and recycling. We live as green a life as we can manage. While we are not perfect, our lifestyle is greener than average.
In order for us to save ourselves from the ravages of global warming, though, the whole world (including the business community) must embrace reductions in their carbon footprint across all sectors of the economy. Fortunately, there are leaders such as Google. By investing heavily in solar and wind energy, Internet meteor Google shows us ways for business to go green.

However, I exhort you to learn more about the company's efforts in the area of renewable energy. As in so many other spheres of technology, Google leads the pack.
